I would like to inform members of this forum that Drew Maddigan did not get “sent down “ to another league but decided that he did not wish to continue playing in the Qmjhl . He informed his coach that he was not returning after the Christmas break. Hopefully this will clear up the confusion of why he is not in Bathurst and is happily playing in another league!

on a side note. seen somewhere Cory MacGillivray from Gatineau was being claimed by us on waivers, haven't seen anything official anywhere so does anyone know if true? He's also no longer listed on Gatineau's roster The Titan currently only have 6 D-men on the roster after Cosman was let go and Maddigan sent down. So adding a D would make sense unless Robichaud is here for the remainder of the year. Maddigan didn’t get sent down,he quit!

Honestly I don’t care if he was cut or quit, he’s gone, to a lower level where he always belonged. Good luck to him, hopefully he’s committed to his team and has a great finish.

I can't say I blame him. He is 19YO and he was passed by 17YO and 18YO defensemen already. So he would have been the #5 dman on a team that is likely(?) to drop in the standings. A lot of young Dmen brought in (1-16YO, 1-17YO and 1-18YO) who probably would have been given good icetime to develop/audition for next year at his expense. I think he will have a lot more fun in Jr.A being a bigger piece on the team than he would have been in Bathurst. And the coach will not have to deal with the dilemma of what to do with Maddigan when he really wants to play the kids. Works out well for everyone.

You can spend the next 30ish games on a bad Q team or go to the MHL, where you’re likely to end up as a 20 anyways and play a way bigger role.

Arseneault scores a hat trick for Baie-Comeau last night, nice to see him finally get some goals with his new team.

St-Onge has quietly been a very solid add for the Titan. He's winning a good amount of faceoffs and has 6 points in 8 games since joining the squad. He previously had 5 points in 32 games with Victoriaville. His skating is also a really strong point. Definitely a player to watch going into next season.

Ethan Dickson has a whopping 72 points in 33 games in AAA this year. Have to think he makes the Titan next season. Was good in his 8 game stint he had.

Victoriaville up 2-0 against Rouyn in the series.
Henneberry has yet to record a point in the playoffs so far. Kind of crazy honestly.

He had 7 pts in one game against the titan and went on to get 21 pts in 28 games still good numbers but im sure victo expected more.

I'm sure Henneberry has still been very useful but he cooled off for sure. He could be due for a big game.
