Trade period

So it's no secret this team has struggled greatly. Very streaky team. Injuries on the back end are a definite factor but at this point I don't think the team climbs much higher in the division. 

this team has 11 19 YO's and 4 20 YO's, only 3 of this bunch can return next season. So that begs the question as to who do we keep, and who do we move? 

This team still doesn't really have a clear direction of when they want to compete again. 2025-2026 maybe...? With that being said I think any of these guys who have value have to go..

20's
Orr (trade)
Roelens (trade) 
Mburanumwe (keep)
Cosman (keep)

Orr and/or Roelens should be in decent demand come Christmas, both are carrying this team and playing almost 30 minutes a night and a lot of contenders could use some OA upgrades. Orr may be one of the fatest skaters in the league this year and Roelens may be one of the best face-off guys, not to mention he's huge. 

Mburanumwe and Cosman I don't think have much value so better off keeping them to help the young guys. I can see us finishing that 3rd slot in a deal for Orr/Roelens or a waiver pickup.

Henneberry (trade)
Arseneault (trade)
Huggan (trade)
Andrews (trade)
McRae (keep)
Godin (keep)
Higgins (either/or)
Bishop (keep)
Maddigan (keep)
Fleming (trade?)
Keller (keep)

this is where things get tricky, I think Henneberry and Arseneault have the most value out of the bunch and would help a contenders middle 6 and will return next season and we could get solid value for them. Huggan and Andrews could add to a contenders bottom 6 and be good additions. McRae and Godin have no value and will likely not return next year either. 

for the back end Higgins definitely has the most value but he was named captain, I think if they don't get many bites then you keep him until next year. Bishop looked good in the small sample size this year but a bad injury has kept him out for a while and I don't think he has much value, could be a decent choice to return next year. Maddigan could maybe go and help a contenders 6/7 spot but seems unlikely. Doubt he returns next season too. 

Fleming has had a terrible start to the season, not entirely his fault but he hasn't looked like last years form. A team could take a waiver on him for the backup role. Maybe he bounces back and his value goes up. Keller has been great so far and I think him returning next year will be likely. I know he will take up 2 slots but this team doesn't have a goalie in the pipeline that will be ready next year IMO. Maybe a contender goes after him? But most have their starting goalies + euro's so it's doubtful.

Higgins/Bishop/Keller for next year if they sell 
Henneberry/Arseneault/Higgins or Keller if they don't sell and expect to be better next year? (unlikely?) 

This team needs to add draft/prospect capital as right now Belanger and Peddigrew alone are not enough to build around. The all-in a couple of seasons ago really ruined a proper rebuild so this team has to start somewhere. 

let me know what you guys think, am I on the right track? Am I far off? What do you think this Titan team should do over the coming months.

Seeing as the team has already taken a path that makes little sense, it's really hard to figure out where they are going. To hazard a guess what they are going to do would be difficult seeing as they have already defied logic to start the season by carry so many 19 YO, many of whom are only Jr. A talent. The team might actually keep all their best players to maybe pass some of the teams in the standings who sold off. Nothing is beyond the realm of possibilities with this management.

I'm still royally pissed at the Kidney trade that resulted in such a shockingly meagre return. Horrible asset managment.

Have to think Henneberry is in high demand, he and that second line have been better than the 1st line as of late.

Henneberry is also likely the 3rd highest 19 YO target for contenders when looking at stats. Only Minville and Fauchon have more points them him for potential available 19 YO's. Henneberry also being a center should attract more teams. I'd say a 1st + would make a lot of sense.

Henneberry also has size and throws the body. Will be sad to see him go but if the values there we gotta move him.

I have seen Higgins play lots of times and he doesn't scream top notch PP QB to me ........unless the asking price isn't very high .......then maybe I can see adding him .

Higgins is a very good PP defenseman. His injury this year set him back a bit but he is extremely explosive with his skating and definitely has an offensive punch as proven last year with 41 points in 68 games. 7 goals coming on the powerplay as well. 

understand that he's also playing top 2 minutes on a weak defensive squad. If he goes to a team like Rouyn I think he would do extremely well especially if his D partner is a more defensive guy like Gaudet or Buteau. 

I can't see the Titan letting him go for that cheap as he's also the captain and is a 1 and 1/2 year player. No reason to move him from our perspective if his value is really low. 

also keep in mind the market on top D isn't all that high, once Luneau is off the board to Victoriaville teams have to try and upgrade where they can. 

I don't see Higgins in CB unless Sly reaaallllyyy wants him and run with him and Schmitt as 2 OA D next season. He's definitely one of the better free agent finds Sly has found though so maybe.

(My prediciton for some players above) I can also see guys like Orr, Fleming getting interest from teams like Moncton,Halifax. Orr cant go to halifax due to his recent trade from there. Titans Should be very active in the next few days i feel. We need dwyer to recover from last seasons underwhelming kidney trade.

I could see Rimouski eyeing Henneberry and/or Arseneault as well. They could run with Henneberry/Mathieu/Arseneault next season. They don't really have 2 locks for OA's next season besides Mathieu.

I wonder what we could acquire for both Arsenault and Henneberry? You have to think the return for Higgins and Roelens wont be minor either. Im really curios to see how Gordie handles this if he plays his cards right the Titans are in for a massive return

It depends if Miller (G-19) comes in from QUE, which I believe is a real possibility. Then, it would be one of Henneberry or Arsenault, IMO.

I'd say at this point in time both Arseneault and Henneberry are worth a 1st +, Henneberry being worth more considering he plays center and penalty kill. Arseneault is on pace for about 30-35 goals though which could be huge secondary scoring for a contender. 

Getting players like Kennedy, Dube, Goguen, Gill, or Pare, could be huge adds towards the rebuild. 

at this point though it's rumored Miller is going to Rimouski so he would take an OA slot, so highly unlikely both Henneberry and Arseneault both end up there but I can still see one or the other going.
