What can we expect tonight? This will not be an easy game as Halifax are 13-4-1. Lead in scoring by Cataford with 26 points and Rousseau in nets with a 1.91 GAA.

Devastation I hope SJ plays up to Halifax, but I don't like the Dogs chances Lineup is: Simek - Reynolds - Mateiko Akkouche - Elie - Reinhart Beveridge - Pierre-Noel - Beaulieu Benoit Bellemare Tivey - Mann Bilodeau - Gauthier Ianniello - Dassylva Amyot Leaver Halifax is running a Cataford - Vidicek - Dumais top line which might be the best in the league. This could also be an audition for guys like Reynolds, Mateiko, Simek, Reinhart, Mann and Tivey who could all be of interest to Halifax. |

Well overall that was not a bad game. Halifax is a much better team than us. Their passing and transition game is good. I noticed they finished every hit and play a very smart game. The guys played well and was nice to see Tivey pick up a goal after the first goal against us.

The guys played well and was nice to see Tivey pick up a goal after the first goal against us. 0 room for error because of the skill difference and the mistakes (there weren't many) became glaring. One of the linesman had an absolutely atrocious game (but that's not uncommon in SJ). I wish SJ had dressed 12/6, but I can handle 11/7 if Amyot is 7. |

I would agree there was no room for mistake. I don’t mind the 11-7. I would guess the coaching staff see more reason to get all D experience over what we have in the rest of the forwards. If Tivey and Mann are gone after Christmas we will need the other 6 to be ready to play.

SJ built on the Halifax game. Yesterday was a good showing. They managed to unlock their speed in the 2nd/3rd and it became only a matter of time.
One of the surprises for me has been the growth of Beaulieu. He struggled a lot in camp and in the first few games, but he's playing his heart out.
