God it's frustrating trying to win a purple jersey. I doubt I'll end up getting one the bids have really sky rocketed!

More money to be raised using raffle tickets. I counted about 20 jerseys. Let's say at $350/jersey, that's a reasonable number to expect for rebuild year junior jerseys, that's $7,000. I know it's not going to be this exact number but let's say the announced crowd of 2500 people all bought $20 worth of raffle tickets, you have $50,000. Raffles are cheaper for all fans and more beneficial to the charities in question. Plus it's random chance rather than you leading an auction only to be sniped in the end by a $10 increase.

I agree that I prefer the raffle, as someone who's never bid on a jersey in my life, but I'd be surprised if a raffle brought in that much. In this economy there's no way every person is spending an additional $20 each. Many are couples and many people have kids who have no money, and not everyone is even going to want in on the raffle. Based on that id give you perhaps 500 people at $5-10 per person. If they are doing a hybrid with 3 jerseys still being raffled that seems like a decent compromise. Are that many less people buying less raffle tickets because it's 3 chances to win vs 23?

It is wonderful to see the support! We have our bids in. Hoping it’s enough. But I’d support this cause everyday if I could and love to see that people show up when it counts

Auction is over. How'd you all do who bid? I was able to get my #8 Morneau! When I spoke with his mom and dad at the last game, I asked them if it was his family bidding. When they said no, (because they got the purple jersey last year and wanted to give others a chance) I knew I had a shot! ♥️🤗

Glad I got one since purple is my favorite color.

I bid on the Arsenault #5 jersey but pulled out once it went to $250.
Anyone know what it went for? What did the cheapest go for? Lowest I saw Saturday was $170 but that was 24 hours before the end so I assume they all went for at least $200.
