sharkey has been called up for today's game. He has 2 goals in 3 games played so far this year with the Titan and has a whopping 19 goals in 14 games in AAA. I'm still shocked he didn't make the team out of camp considering his strong pre-season.
Hopefully he spends the rest of the season with the team after Christmas and should have a regular position next season.

I expect he will after the trade period, I agree with the coaches decision so far, instead of being on the 4th line and not playing he has been playing a ton in AAA and having success.

He had a great camp, looks like he got into a numbers game. Hopefully gordie has a plan for him after Xmas. I don’t think playing a full year in AAA is the best for his development. 19 goals is big considering he’s a pass first kinda kid!

Would be the ideal guy to give the puck to I don’t think 17 YO Sharkey, who didn’t make the team out of camp is going to come in and be any kind of replacement to a 19 YO forward who’s scoring at a 30+ goal pace and near a PPG. If he joins the team, you should just be hoping he proves to be a QMJHL calibre player, not the replacement for an almost PPG player. |

If he joins the team, you should just be hoping he proves to be a QMJHL calibre player, not the replacement for an almost PPG player. well I didn't mean he'd step right in and score 20-30 for us but he is a scoring winger and could develop into an Arseneault type by 19. He would be a work in progress for sure. I just wouldn't be against moving Arseneault for a 1st + and having Sharkey get some development minutes in his place if it comes to that. |

I was told he’s joining the team after Xmas 3 weeks ago when I talked to his dad… honestly not trying to act like a source or anything was just relaying what I was told.
