The Eagles head into Charlottetown for an early week contest.
We have not been playing so well lately. The road trip was tough, but we did have some easy opponents and didn't come home with enough points, IMO. We're seeing some of the inconsistencies that unfortunately you sometimes see with young teams. Hopefully we can get on track with some solid home efforts in the coming games.
Game time is 7:00 tonight.

Carter Bickle will start in goal.
Ross Campbell will remain out of the lineup but the final roster will be a game-time decision.

Glad the island rumor mill was wrong about Ross not playing again this season. I wouldn't say it's the "Island rumor mill" .....any team and their fans would be concerned over a player who had a situation like Ross did. |

He's on the ice now and that's what matters. |

For getting shutout that was a great game. Eagles' goalie really robbed us tonight, he was a ton of fun to watch. A very well earned first star.

should be a couple of sellouts coming this week with these performances lol
i'll be there FRiday for the hockey fights cancer game...... but good chance it's my last game for quite some time if it's as boring and uneventful as the few I've watched recently have been

should be a couple of sellouts coming this week with these performances lol i'll be there FRiday for the hockey fights cancer game...... but good chance it's my last game for quite some time if it's as boring and uneventful as the few I've watched recently have been Shots were 36 Islanders to 23 Eagles. They just couldn’t beat the goalie. But the effort was there, I felt. Super frustrating for sure because these are games we should be able to win! If we can match Halifax toe to toe and take it overtime, we can beat the Eagles! But the inconsistency is painful. Can’t keep winning 1 and losing 4. Sigh. The entire energy in the building was dead. I said that to my husband during warm up’s - both sides looked low energy. And the fans didn’t help but I don’t expect a party on a Tuesday night. Back at it Thursday! I will say, not showing up, doesn’t seem to help the situation any. Why not show up and cheer loudly for your team? Win or lose, they are kids. 🤷🏼♀️ Can’t quit on them now. Growing pains are real |

Growing pains are real you're a better fan now than I am.... i was that fan for 16 years.... after Covid and getting away from the rink I don't really miss it much my son is at an age now where he'd rather go sit with his buddies if he goes to the games plus his hockey interferes with the schedule making season ticket purchases not worthwhile, my mom sadly doesn't understand what's going on anymore due to dimentia, I hate driving in winter and after dark, i'm a single father with limited disposable income so dropping 40-50 bucks on a night out means I would like some entertainment attached to the expense and watching a team not score goals is not entertaining to me that enough reasons for ya? i hope to someday get back into it...... and i love seeing people stick with them as I did for many years... however I won't blame anyone for not paying money to be bored either |

You certainly didn’t need to but I appreciate it. All of those reasons are very valid. Certainly you didn’t owe me an explanation. My response was based on the little bit of information given and what was implied and that was that it was because they weren’t winning enough to entertain you. To that, my response stays the same - don’t quit on them based on that. All of your other reasons, are just that, yours. And I’d never judge you for making any decision you feel you need to make because of them! So if I offended you, I’m truly am sorry. I am brand new. I had no idea this gold mine of entertainment existed so either they did a really bad job reaching people outside the junior hockey circle ( I’ve lived in Charlottetown since 2007) or I lived under a rock (the second one may be true…) So if you asked me, you guys, who have been around since day one, are the true fans. I’m still learning this league and all the pains that come with it! There seem to be plenty…but I’m a Habs fan so I can handle hurt. I guess I’m glutton for punishment  I am very sorry about your mom. Dementia/Alzheimers is the absolute worst. My family has experienced and lost because of it and you have my sincere prayers! 🙏🏻 |

Habs fan also and yeah I was a season ticket holder for the Rocket/Islanders from the day they announced they were relocating here from Montreal until the year covid hit
You also didn't offend me I was merely lettin you know why the ole don't give up on them line doesn't work for me anymore
