Jack has been called up for the next little bit, I assume while Ozols is away at his World Junior tourney.
Very intrigued to see him this year as we all know how last year went. But in all honesty, I figured it would be Boudreau who got the call seeing as he made the team out of camp.

Hopefully he plays well. Would be nice to see any kind of progression in his game. I'd imagine though we'll see Bickle in most, if not all the games.

I would have thought they would go to Boudreau given his strong play in training camp…..but Flanagan’s numbers are quite superior.
This is a chance for Flanagan to show the potential the Islanders saw in him when he was originally drafted. Remember, he’s just 18 and increasingly it seems the case they goalies aren’t ready for prime time work in this league until they are 18.

Jack had a 5 game suspension early on in the MHL this year for Discrimination...that's a horrible look and honestly I would much rather have Bourdreau than someone that acts with that kind of conduct.
All of this sounds gross and awful:
Rule 11.4 – Discrimination
Any player or team official who engages in taunts, insults, or intimidation based on discriminatory grounds will be assessed a Gross Misconduct penalty. Discriminatory grounds include the following, without limitation:
Race, national or ethnic origin, skin colour, or language spoken;
Religion, faith or beliefs;
Age
Sex, sexual orientation or gender identity / expression;
Marital or familial status;
Genetic characteristics;
Disability.

Good for Jack kid has had a tough couple years if I’m not mistaken hopefully he comes in and plays well I know I will be cheering for him!

His stats look good. 6-4 GAA 2.80 Sv% .916 Will be interesting to see if he gets an opportunity. Mirimichi sits 5th overall in league standings with Flanagan and Boudreau as their netminders....both Isle prospects. |
