well that was one of the more exciting games so far at home this year. Lots of rough stuff and lots of goals. Decent crowd as well.
Hope Orr isn't injured too bad...didn't return after the hit from Campbell and was limping walking down the hallway.
it's a bit of a shame this team is going to look very different from tonight for the next game on the 28th but it's a necessary evil. This team has talent and it's shown this year they can play with some of the better teams and there's lots of exciting players to watch but this team is also too inconsistent.
Stockpiling more picks for 2024 and 2025 seems to be the goal. I'm sure Gordie has gotten a decent amount of calls so far and we will see if there's any early moves by tomorrow.
Also Louis-Francois Belanger has been awesome, can't wait to see how he develops in the 2nd half as it's probably pretty clear he will get more ice time and relied on more. He could be a legit threat at 18-19 especially if he grows a bit more.
