well...that was an absolute roller coaster of a game.
Some game notes:
probably one of the worst first periods the Titan played all year being outshot 22-2 and down 4-0.
quite the comeback as well to go up 7-5 then to blow the lead in less than 5 minutes to be tied 7-7 and eventually lose in OT.
4 goals on 5 shots against Fleming in the 3rd and OT combined...tough pill to swallow
WHAT a return from Henneberry though, 4 goals 3 assists. Guy was motivated. Nice to see the fans and team give him a standing ovation as well.
Orr played one of his best games too getting the hat trick, was nice to see a few hats on the ice.
the 3 stars is a little frustrating... Orr definitely should've been the 2nd or 3rd and while Huggan played good Pellerin had 7 assists and wasn't a star.
should've been 1. Hennberry 2. Pellerin 3. Orr
the new guys all looked relatively good tonight, nice to see Ponzetto get the monkey off his back, that was a really nice goal. Also Perron with a highlight reel goal tonight was awesome to see.
really missed Roelens tonight, and glad to see Belanger was ok after all that blood on the ice from the puck to the face.
on to Sunday! This team still being somewhat competitive will be fun to watch leading up to the playoffs.

That was a really entertaining game.
Y'know it's funny, I think everyone looks at the price of Joey Henneberry and says "I like the player, but that's way too much to pay for him" but then he's now 3rd in league goal scoring and rising.
He's a guy who was never supposed to be a "star", and up until his 19 year old season he didn't look like he was going to be anything more than just a decent top 9 option. suddenly tho, he's found this extra gear... I think by the end of the season he's going to be seen as one of the leagues top players

I think by the end of the season he's going to be seen as one of the leagues top players yup! He really found his groove, and they switched him to the wing in Victoriaville as well playing on the top line with Cormier and Pellerin. That line can and will do some damage. people underestimate Henneberry's size as well, he's not small at 6'2 194. He skates well, good shot, he's got all the tools for a succesful Q player. I'm sure an NHL team out there will take a long consideration about him. He will also be a top 5 OA next year for sure, so the price of 2 1sts is starting to make a lot of sense right now.

Heard a rumour that he had wanted to be traded to a contender and is now contemplating leaving the team. Not sure if its true or not, I think he also had a few games of suspension

Heard a rumour that he had wanted to be traded to a contender and is now contemplating leaving the team. Not sure if its true or not, I think he also had a few games of suspension weird considering I heard the opposite that he actually wanted to stay. he didn't play because he was suspended 2 games, he will be back tomorrow against the Eagles. I would be extremely shocked if he left the team, the team is still somewhat competitive with him in the lineup.
