Islanders vs. Drummondville - Mar. 1/24

We continue our tour of the "ville's" tonight with a stop in Drummondville.

I'll hope for our best effort.... but this one has the potential to be nasty. Even though the Volts trail Baie-Comeau by a significant margin, I sort of feel they are the most dangerous team in the league right now. They've run up the score on a few teams in the new year and got in the double digit goal total range.

We'll cross our fingers and hope for the best.

Game time is 8:00 AST.

We've already beaten Drummondville, so hopefully that will boost the confidence going in, though that was early in the season. Drummondville would have to come out strong wanting to prove that win was a fluke.

Actually that win from earlier in the season should put pressure on Drummondville to win this one. You don't want to be a contending team and lose twice to a team near the bottom of the standings, especially with playoffs just around the corner.

Not sure if it’s just a misprint, but Will Allen isn’t in the lineup, or on the official league lineup sheet at all. Not even listed as a scratch?

Too bad about shields being out, he's definitely been one of the better players lately. Thought Allen was as well, odd about him not even being listed...
