The Islanders are heading to Halifax tonight for a matchup against the Mooseheads.
Last time was a tough one. Hopefully we get a strong effort. It's been a difficult stretch.
Game time is 7:00 PM.

Landon Ryan, Kenzie Wagner…. Both NS kids, both have played exhibition games so NCAA no issue. I didn’t look, but I can’t imagine every guy on this list is playing a game tonight. Plamondon an option if they wanted to bring him in, but it likely affects his playoffs. I don’t understand either. This is not something that is excessively expensive or anything like that. Strang, Jacques, and Mossey all in the MHL playoffs starting tonight. Not sure of any other names we have |

Yikes we are lucky Flanagan was ok after that knee. Really wish Kearsey didn't get into it though, need more than 3 D

Jacques was playing with Edmundston Thursday night at home in their game against Fredericton.
Amherst was not playing. Their series vs. Pictou starts on Saturday. The number of times we needed a defenceman an Strang was not playing and we drove right through Amherst on the way to the game....it suggests to me that he just doesn't have interest in playing at the major junior level with us.... and we just have to be fine with that... ditto for Hinkley and Rutledge.
Landon Ryan with the Valley Wildcats...they played a playoff game vs. Dartmouth Thursday night, so he was not available.
But why not give a look to Kenzie Wagner with the Halifax Mac's? We are in Halifax playing the Mooseheads. Does it not make sense to get him in the lineup when we need a defenceman and could use him to give us the 18th skater?

None of these callup defencemen are available Saturday night. Hopefully some of the injuries heal and we can ice a full lineup vs. Saint John.

Did anyone watch the game? The game summary shows Huckins receiving a game misconduct for taking of one’s helmet…but then later on goes to score in the second period.
I’m assuming they wouldn’t get the goal wrong, so the penalty is likely just a mistake?
