Any updates on Gio’s injury? It would be a shame if he had to miss the final few home games of his 20 y/o season. All good, no hard feelings. Actually I went back to read my post and I see where the confusion was. I never actually put that they posted it on Facebook as the first official matchup of the playoffs. As for the series, I do fully expect a blowout where we will be lucky to win a game. That said though, I feel like Baie-Comeau is one of the weaker top seeds we've had in recent years (not including our artificially inflated Covid season where we basically only played Halifax and Cape Breton). Any success will live and die with Horth, Morneau, and Bickle. Gio should be back by game 1, same timeline for Topo. Michel should be back by the weekend |

Last game I was at, their bus driver came up to me and asked me “why are you wearing a Morneau jersey?” Which I thought was a funny way to start a convo but he was just trying to see if I had a story and said he always asks anyone he sees on the road or at home and that’s how he meets family. I said “I’m just a fan”  and then asked how he was doing and according to the driver, he’s got a fairly significant injury and they are “hoping” but unsure if he’ll be there for the first game in the play offs. :/ I feel bad for him to end his Q career off the ice. Here’s hoping he gets back. |

Pregame show tonight they said morneau is cleared for contact and will skate today with hope to play one on the weekend
