Ross took the exact penalty that Bobby Orr did to him. I get not being pushed around, standing up for teammates, etc but you gotta have some control.
Other teams also know they can bait Ross into getting angry - Last few home games his teammates were trying to get in the middle and keep him calm.
Sad thing is this he is a good hockey player, his antics just keep him from really showing it.

Jack and Ross are brothers. Well hopefully he'll figure it out then cause I remember when Jack was an Eagle he was supposedly a great locker room guy but the consistent bad penalties he took drove alot of Eagles fans myself included nuts. I'd trade his ass but thats just me one things for sure he isn't a locker room type leader.... flags galore but yes he can play hockey when he puts his mind to it but is a constant ticking time bomb

Interesting….. I happened to be looking at some stats during the game last night from when Jack played in the Q. After he was finished with Cape Breton he suited up with the Summerside Capitals. But this past off season the Caps traded him to Pictou. Generally, Pat MacIver and the Caps are big fans of talented players from PEI and don’t tend to trade them away. He requested a trade to pictou where he had the opportunity to write his electrical block while playing hockey.

Actually I remember hearing about that when he was moved. Thanks for clarifying! Interesting….. I happened to be looking at some stats during the game last night from when Jack played in the Q. He has skill with the puck, and he can play the role of agitator. His selfish penalties have to stop though. He's useless to us sitting in the penalty box (unless he took another player with him). He's only 17, I wouldn't write him off just yet. Hopefully him and Hulton and maybe the captains have a chat with him about toning it down a bit and becoming a more effective player.
