One X-factor in the series might be the Souris Firecracker, Ross Campbell. When he is able to stay on the proper side of the line, he can be very effective at agitating the opposition.
We know we will have to be careful with the officiating in the opening games. Baie-Comeau was one of the most penalized teams in the league this season. Look for Ross to make his mark early in this series.

-Cory Arsenault.
Campbell an X-factor.... in the wrong way.

Ross has to decide what kind of a hockey career he wants to have.
Continued undisciplined play like this will limit his chances of sticking around the league, let alone advancing to the next level.

Allen…2 dumb penalties, 2 ppg’s. If we were not short bodies he’d probably warm the bench in the 3rd.

Tough first game. Back at it tomorrow. I am hoping for at the very least, a more disciplined game. I don’t expect to win this series but I’m hoping this was jitters and that they’ll play a more structured game tomorrow.

Ross reminds me alot of Jack Campbell who played for the Eagles a couple seasons ago an agitating physical forward who unfortunately forgets where the line is alot and ends up taking bad penalties because of it, for the Islanders sake I hope he figures out where the line is sooner than later cause I don't think Jack ever did.

Well hopefully he'll figure it out then cause I remember when Jack was an Eagle he was supposedly a great locker room guy but the consistent bad penalties he took drove alot of Eagles fans myself included nuts.
