Once again it was the Islanders goalie keeping them in it. 4 goals on 44 shots is pretty dang good. Bickle doing his part, let's hope the rest of the team can do theirs.
Wonder what Horth's status is? Didn't really see the play but I don't think it was anything intentional/dirty, he's been fighting a leg issue all season.

Roos Campbell suspended one game - I guess we are lucky it's only the one. It’s a shame how soft the league is now. Yes his hands were high to the face. It wasn’t a stick to the face. Player went down and stayed down like ross took his head off. I don’t see it being much different than a jab to the face in a scrum in front of the net. No his past doesn’t help the situation. But I think it was far from a 5 let alone a game suspension… would also like to know the last time islanders played in Quebec for playoffs with out a suspension 🤷♂️ |

Looked like an obvious unprovoked cross check to the mouth to me….penalty called the same way it was in 1988 when the play was more commonplace in hockey. He’s not listed in the line uo today. He’s sitting out as sick or injured. You sound like the same person who would consider PTSD as people "being soft". Haven't seen the incident myself yet, but Ross has definitely earned the reputation calls. You can't keep doing stupid and needless hits and expect good will from the league. |

When the 9th ranked team in the East conference has more points than the 8th ranked team in the West conference, they cross over and play the #1 seed of the West. In this year's case, Saint John had more points than Val d'Or so they cross over and play Drummondville. |

If anyone, it would be the officials that would make a call based on his reputation. |

That’s why I’ve seen rumours of them going back to 1v16 instead of the conference format since it’s only the 9/10 seeds that would move over if the 7/8 in the west are the last 2 |
