Drakkar vs. Islanders - Apr. 3/24 - Game #4

Game 4 goes Wednesday night and our backs are up against the wall.

Hopefully this team puts in a full 60 minute effort.

Game time is 7:00 PM.

All you can ask for tonight is a solid effort. Go out with a fight and give them everything you got.

We went in a total mismatch and managed to so far keep the games relatively close and respectable. They've done all you can really ask for.

I'm happy with everything Bickle has given us so far. He quickly erased a big question we had with goaltending.

Give 'em hell and hopefully we get treated to a bonus game Friday.

The Isles have shown that they can, well, "sorta" keep up with the Drakkar. They get under their skin. They kept them to just two shots for most of the second period in game two before shit hit the fan. It's the five-ten minute spurts of them forgetting how to play hockey that kill them. 60 minutes of good hockey, we see a game on Friday, but my money is on the sweep.

The Drakkar are a beast. All the best to former Islanders Justin Gill and Angus Booth (never played but still)

Kudos to the Drakkar. They have a great team and should be set up for a lengthy playoff run this season.

Drakkar have a great team, obviously we were heavily outmatched so it shouldn’t surprise anyone that we’re out in 4.

I’ll be interested to watch the Drakkar and see how far they can go…surely it’ll be a deep run

Can't really ask for more in that series. They gave it their all and kept it respectable given how outmatched we were.

Very excited to see what's in store next for the team. We have a good group of 18 year olds next season that should be fun to watch.

Things will for sure slow down here. Just wanted to thank you all for posting with me (and putting up with me lol). It's been a very rough year for me and this was always a nice escape for me. Brighter days are coming though. It was a year where twice I almost got killed, a very mentally hard thing to really grasp and move on from.

Or...or... Crazy idea, you could actually be positive and acknowledged that they never gave up and fought hard against a team built to win it all.

Not trying to be rude but the constant negativity is getting old. Your posts used to be enjoyable to read, even if they were on the negative or critical side. Now it just comes across a lot as whining for the sake of whining.

Good stuff! This was an old school ass kicking, plain and simple. Nothing wrong with eating some humble pie. Horth injured hurt for sure- team just missed his presence even through he fell off late. Other top scorers, including the top D set up man were out played-period. You can say you were dissatisfied how some players went out-for sure.
There was zero probability of them even winning one game.
Enjoy your beautiful Island and all it has to offer this summer.
