some exciting news as Titan have signed 17 YO Maddex Marmulak. Marmulak was MVP of the NS U18 league last season.
he currently has 3 points in 4 games in the BCHL but decided to come over. Eliteprospects has him listed as an NCAA commit for the 2026-2027 season but not sure if that still happens, either way he should be another building block piece to this young roster.
this leaves a question though and that is who is the odd-man out? Dickson? Lazare? Who?

Dickson? Lazare? Who? The odd man out has to be Dickson his play hasnt been good i can see Marmulak being affective right away for us. Another right handed shot added to the mix aswell |

I believe that rule is “if you’re playing in the BCHL as of a certain date” then you’re ineligible for Hockey Canada/CHL leagues but maybe im wrong |

I agree, I'd like Lazare to stick it's just tough with having 8 D. It's strange that Laberge, and Daniele have been healthy scratches before MacGillivray has. Not that he's played bad or anything but he's a 19 YO on a team that has some younger guys that need crucial development. Gordie must really like MacGillivray. If they decide to stick with 8 D-men then the odd man out definitely comes down to Dickson or Frechette is my guess. Frechette has played the better of the 2 though. Would be a tough pill to swallow if Dickson had that strong showing last year and in pre-season this year to just get let go after 4 games... decisions decisions. |

Adding a potential core piece for basically free is awesome. Hope he has a solid first game vs SJ Thursday. This team is fun to watch. |
