Young fellow from the Dalhousie area who was working(Armed Forces???) until the 24th of August.
Remember the Boxer from the Lorne/Eel River area who was one tough dude. Might be the same family. Can't remember the boxer's name and I had it just yesterday....Senior moment!

You must be referring to Danny Smearer. There are many Smearers from the Belledune-Dalhousie area so who knows.

I hear you seahawk and you probably know alot of them. I thought of the name on the way home and was about to post it when I saw your post.
Might be a tough player. Anybody know where he played last year?

Cory fights out of the Belledune Boxing Club and his father Danny run's it. Danny was quite a boxer in his day , don't know about Cory though.

He got filled in by Boyle in a middleweight bout, fighting on skates is not the same thing.

That last punch was apparently all he could take ... he was officially full by that time ... and went down. Therefore ... he was "filled in".
