The Titan are now down to 25 players and I don't expect to see the 5 heading for NHL camps to be on the roster. That would leave the Titan with the following roster:
Goals: Tardif and Legault
defense: Desnoyers Renaud Tesink Chamberland Tanel Blanchard
forwards: Svoboda Massé Joly Grenache Faille Mailloux Jezegou Critchlow Legros Jean-Boulianne Lambke Couture

Where is Clendenning going to be? Just wondering. Clendenning has not played any exhibition game so far. If Clendenning, Labrie, Sigouin, Perreault or Messier would have played any game, the logical situation would have been against Lewiston last weekend. NHL camps start around Sept. 7th for the most part, and it seems that the Titan will give them the long weekend off.

If he does not attend, add him to the roster and scratch one of Lambke/Jean-Boulianne/Coutur

Tesink is Out 6 weeks...Broken Wrist This news will hasten a comment I was about to makeabout the team's defense. I think it is actually the eam's weakness. There's no doubt that the offensive units will be strong, perhaps the most well-balanced attack since the 98-99 season . And if Tardif and Legauk=lt can perform up to expectations, they will be a good duo -- not a great duo, but a god duo. That leaves the defense. From last year's squad, Labrie will be the strong oint. He should be the one playing the 1st PP (hope he takes advantage of his shot more). Tesink would be the one looked at for the toughness, Sigouis should have a good season as I think he may be the one who could show the most progression from last year's group. Finally,Desnoyers and Renaud were, in my opinion two of our weakest d-men last year, and I don't honestly expect much more from them. Let's be realistic, you can only progress so much with limited talent. That leaves the newcomers : Tannel who should be a great project, Blanchard, who I think is on the small side for a Q d-man, but is very skilled and has a good head on his shoulders, and Chamberland who is a league veteran, but IMO, didn't appear to be in the best of shape at the start of camp. I think the D squad will be one without an obvious star (save Labrie) , a group of fair-to-good players, but lacking experienced depth and will have to find at least one or maybe two veteran d-men by Xmas............ Time will tell

Looks like Cory Smearer is making his Titan debut along with Messier...should be interesting to see how they fare. Hopefully Lambke can have a good game and solidify one of those final spots. Also, Tommy Legault gets his 2nd start in net

Very bad first period for the Titan: 1 shot on goals and only 6 GH compared to 9 for the Cats.... I hope our boys come stronger in the 2nd..... I wonder why Legros was not dressed with Morehouse in the lineup
