Thats a lot of forwards...Jezegou may have to go if you want to keep Couture around or if you want Critchlow to play most of the games. Although this all hinges on Clendenning playing and Bartos playing.

I don't know if any forwards were cut after the game last night but the Titan had 20 forwards still in camp.

I don't expect Jean-Boulianne or Bernier to stay around after this weekend.
So we probably could be left with:
Critchlow
Lambke
Couture to compete for 4th line position with guys like Basque, Legros and Labelle.
Jezegou,IMPO, is a lock and also should be Faille and Joly or Grenache.

Massé/Bartos(?)-Perreault-Svoboda
Massé/Grenache(?)-Messier-Clendenning
Mailloux/Joly-Faille-Joly/Grenache(?)
Legros/Critchlow/Lambke(?)-Labelle/Couture/Basque(?)-Jezegou

FYI

A lot of teams hang on to their 16YO until the long weekend in September. 16YO go to high school and not CEGEP so they don't have to be released early. The Titan have for years kept their 16YO until the last minute before sending them back to MAAA. MA Dorion, Patrice Bergeron etc. were all kept until the end of the long weekend. What better way to work with the kids and get them motivated but to keep them as long as they can before releasing them.

It can also serve as motivation for a few of the older guys to try and save their spots.

Critchlow cannot be turning 16 in January. If he is we have an ineligible player. He must be 16 in 2007 to have been drafted or to play.

Faille played center all of 2nd half of last season between Grenache and Joly.
Mailloux was listed as a left winger on the Huskies lineup last season.
Faille was 12 of 17 on faceoffs in his last game in Bathurst Tuesday.

I would be happy with Mailloux on the 2nd line.
However the line of Joly-Faille-Grenache is something I feel should not be dismantled unless Grenache is promoted to the 2nd line.
That 3rd line gave a lot of problems to our playoff opponents and made for a very good 3rd line.
Now there is nothing wrong inserting Mailloux there as he has got the size to help greatly digging these pucks along the board and taking possession of the boards in the offensive zone.

With guys like Labelle, Lambke, Legros as extra forwards, it leaves room to send the 16 year olds back to midget for another year.....I know one this for sure, this is one deep set of forwards, with the possibility of having 4 lines that can put the puck in the net..........guys like Grenache, Jezegou, Faille, Mailloux can play anywhere all the way up to the 2nd line......if Bartos doesn't show up, any of the 2nd line could move up to the 1st line and there are guys on the 3rd and 4th lines that wouldn't look out of place on the 2nd.........
