anyone care that Labelle got traded lol I knew that it was unlikely that he would stay but he did do his job last year for the Titan. He played his way onto the team by outworking the guys he was competing with. He even got time on the 1st line every now and then as a reward for being there and doing his job 110% everytime he was on the ice. I wish him well in Drummondville. Coaches can only wish that they have a full team that worked as hard on the ice as Labelle. |

No, it's never a surprise to see 19 year olds like Labelle and Basque be traded or cut when there's a good crop of good 17 year olds pushing for a spot on the team. In those cases, the 19 year olds can't just be "slightly" better than the 17's...they have to be head and shoulders better in every aspect.
