Hi, Just wondering if anyone can enlighten me as to the goaltending situation this year; any intriguing invites; or overall what it looks like the 1 and 2 slot will be when training camp is over (hey, without guesswork sports would be no fun!)  |

Moncton were after 18-year-old US goalie Josh Unice but he decided to join Kitchener instead.

Moncton were after 18-year-old US goalie Josh Unice but he decided to join Kitchener instead. It is going to be tough for us to land anything spectacular in goal - Riopel appears set to be the starter for the next 2 or 3 years, meaning whomever they bring in is going to be the backup in all likelihood - blue chip guys would aspire to more than that ... I don't expect we will have any more than an average backup, to emerge from the group of Bolduc, Cooling and other FAs. |
