That type of thing should be open for discussion on any board if it concerns the team in question .... he certainly could help the Titan but it comes at the expense of an existing 20 ... Clendenning (if he returns), Labrie and Svoboda (is he in camp yet ?). If one of Clendenning or Svoboda followed another option for this season then Picard-Hooper would be an upgrade on either of them. The main Q page seems to be reserved for "My Favourite" polls and has very little real hockey substance on it. Those polls seem to detract from the board. Clean that crap off that board and maybe more people will start real discussions instead of puckbunny chatter. Its a "General" board... and until this week, there have been no games or even training camps to talk about. What else is there to talk about at this point? It is a "general board" where all local boards have been moved....very important clarification  |

If you don't want to comment on this topic on this Board, it is up to you to start a topic on the other Board. I will not stand that type of argument every time I bring a topic to this Board. One of the benifits of this QMJHL board is that we can have better discussion on overall topics like this one, instead of having multiple threads on the same topic.......Reason whay you should have posted this on the main board, as it relates to the Q and not the Titan. For the record, the majority of people who bother coming to these boards are not going to bother switching from board to board. I for one have no interest in checking any other board than this one. To be honest if you want to start segregating every post then this board will be a total waste of time for all but a few posters! |

Paré costed a player, Tremblay who is a 2006 2nd round pick plus a first round pick to the Sags. IMPO Picard-Hooper is better and would be worth at least that even if there are character issues.... He is dedicated long term to his studies and ended up the Scholastic player of the Year for the Q... Personally I find that commandable if anything and he would be a nice fit with Perreault as he is a pure sniper You find it commendable that someone is dedicated to studies but tear kids apart for choosing prep school/NCAA. That's a bit of a contradiction. |

Aside from that the people who truly appreciate chsb's posts rarely post on other boards. Nothing is stopping anyone from quoting the post and start the same topic on the main board. I have to agree on this one that people can post stuff on any board they want... if someone feels they have a topic they want to get a wider range of replies on, they can (if they want) post it in general. Chances are, if its something like this Picard story, it will get posted anyway. chsb was maybe trying to get feedback on the situation from a Titan fan point of view. Score could have said "could you post this on general" rather than the disapproving post he made |

Old people.... That was fluff to fill the board before the season started. Most people now have training camp to discuss. |

I just think Score is way out of line for coming down on chsb for posting something on the Titan board that is of interest to Titan fans. By his rule ... everything should be on the main baord ... everything Q related ... as it may have interest to fans of other teams. I am interested in things that happen in PEI, Bathurst, Halifax, Saint John, St. John's, CB ... Moncton of course ... but not Lewiston for some reason. I don't care where I find interesting news about other teams and other players ... and if I feel other Moncton fans might be interested to know that Picard-Hooper is interested in coming east then I might post it on the Moncton board. The whole premise of combining the seperate boards into one area came with the notion that each individual board would remain the same ... just easier access to other boards and a main board. If chsb isn't allowed to post Picard-Hooper news on the Titan board then I guess the Titan board did not stay the same ... and we were all lied to. The real problem here in this thread is Score allowed his dislike for chsb to cloud his judgement and decided to come down on him for no reason. Nice moderating skills ...  |

On this board, I am an "outsider" just like you... not a moderator. All I did was simply ask if that thread would be better suited on the main board. Shoot me now, I asked a question.
