A reasonable offer might be Lincourt plus a 2nd or 3rd or 18 year old forward. The problem with a Picard-Hooper deal, is Baie Comeau is asking for immediate help. Moncton has 16-17 Q calibre forwards, send a 20 year old plus a guy like Cameron/Lerssard/Labelle in a 2 for 1. It's not really a downgrade because Picard-Hooper won't play there so they don't hold all the cards. |

I would offer either Lincourt or Morehouse along with Eagles and Lepage, that should be enough.

So it went from being Barberio and a first or Lepage and two firsts to Lincourt and a second? You changed your tune quite a bit there. Are you sure you didn't have Picard-Hooper confused with Bourdon at first? ;D |

You changed your tune quite a bit there. Are you sure you didn't have Picard-Hooper confused with Bourdon at first? ;D For some reason I thought Picard-Hooper was 19, that would make his value much higher. |

I wouldn't want to offer that for any player that isn't here in the 08/09 season. I completely agree... I really don't think this was offered, unless it was the first of several deals that were bringing other players to Moncton, including another good young defense. Our year is not this year, but next year. If they offer a package of forwards for him, I don't mind because we can afford that. Anything else I can't see (again unless it's replaced in another trade) |
