How is Dimitruk doing at camp? They are bashing him left and right on the Boston Dboard and on USHR.com for going to the Q instead of NCAA. How does he look, speed, toughness, shot, skating, etc?

It will take him a little bit to get used to the speed of the game but he has good speed, a nice shot and his vision seems to be good as well. I think he is going to make a very good Q D man. I am very happy he decided to come here. He does need to work a little on his strength conditioning but that can be worked on here. He is going to be fun to watch develop here for sure. IMO.
It is a shame that people need to bash kids for trying to pick the right route to get them to the next level though. Either way is a good choice, Q or NCAA but I think the Q is the "faster" way to the show more often than not. But it was a tough decision for him as he went to our rookie camp and part of the main camp and then went to the NCAA and college preview camp last weekend. So he did make sure that he had most of his facts together before he decided.
