they got 1 pt. dispite playying half of the game shorthanded. For whatever reason being undisciplned or officials. If Titan is considered one of the top teams , the Cats are going to give them a run for their money.

And lets not forget the tying goal was a fluke, off the glass and off Riopel.

Don't forget Steve 4 goals were on the powerplayand 1 was a unlucky bounce. If they keep playing as undisciplined as they did last night then they had better improve the penalty kill because they are going to spend a lot of time using it.

And lets not forget the tying goal was a fluke, off the glass and off Riopel. For the record, the puck bounced off the glass and Clendenning hit it in about waist high. It was no more a fluke than Tardiff being shoved into the net after he had made the save. He didn't look so good on the first goal from behind the net.

Waist high must have been a strike.

I was sure Clendenning batted it out of the air (I sit behind the net it was scored in) and it was credited to him but on the Q site it says Messier scored it?

Don't forget Steve 4 goals were on the powerplayand 1 was a unlucky bounce. I don't blame Riopel for the loss ... but he gave up 6 goals ... and we aren't going to beat anybody giving up 6 goals. He has to step up and shut the door when his team isn't ... thats what makes a good goaltender great. I don't call 6 goals on 40 shots a good performance ... even though I saw him make several good saves.

I thought he had a very good game, the overall defensive play was very poor in terms of defensive coverage. that's to be expected with 4 new d-men, give them a few weeks and you should see a difference...once they get their feet wet and know their partner a bit.

He played OK at best. 3 of the 6 goals were weak, one almost got thru...he looked behind but it was stuck under his arm (looked shacky at times). IMO, there were other players on the team deserving of that 3rd star.
