Is Baca injured or just a healthy scratch? There has been no mention of him in the paper or anywhere. I'm pretty sure I heard Green on 91.9 during the first intermission that he's just a scratch. Something about maybe the culture shock. I think that's what he said.. something like that. |

Well that makes us 1 for 18 on the pp and 6 for 23 on the PK. With the number of penalties being called in the league we really need to improve both of those stats but coming out with 2 wins and an OT lose is a great start.

First of all that Brannon vs O'Connor fight if you even call it that was like a 5 second wrestling match. Secondly the team Moncton just beat isn't Halifax's best ever, once you see Voracek, MacMillan and Pridham in the line up see how Moncton fares.

Well that's 2 points I didn't expect. Moncton looked pretty good from what I saw (or perhaps it was just Halifax looking not so good). But still, they looked better than last weekend, as they should with the boys back from NHL camps. Hopefully they can carry the momentum into tomorrow's game.

And you never can really tell how bad Morehouse really gets hit because he tends to embellish the impact on occasion. Brannon got in a few shots, I don't think it was 8-10 though. I guess we'll have to watch it again once Telus archives it. |

Not that ours are that much better, but who's the creative genius behind Halifax's third jersey? Its actually quite nice and a tribute to the Halifax Atlantics...and they look similar to the Vees jerseys |

Well I think the Cats looked pretty good, but as luke34e said, wait til Halifax has there top guns back and see how we do. I think that made the difference. But I liked what I seen in the meantime. To start the season getting 5 out of a possible 6 points.. I'll take it. I didn't get to see the fight.. I'll have to wait til Telus puts it in the "archives" ..
