BOUCHERVILLE, Thursday, September 20, 2007 – The Halifax Mooseheads and the Drummondville Voltigeurs were active on the trade front yesterday. The Mooseheads acquired goaltender Pier-Olivier Pelletier (87-04-08) as well as a fourth round selection in 2009 from the Voltigeurs for winger Garrett Peters (87-01-12) and third (acquired from Val-d’Or) and seventh (acquired from Drummondville) round picks in 2008.
Pelletier, who was drafted by the Phoenix Coyotes in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft, won 29 games for the Voltigeurs last season while posting a 2.97 goals-against-average and .901 save percentage. As for Peters, he collected 22 goals and 17 helpers in 61 contests for the Mooseheads.

Good move for Halifax. They are keeping Yetman as the backup and they cut Kennedy.
