a really fighter....like spencer.... Must be a fighter who carries a purse I recall him bitch slapping any Titan player that he squared off with. Not a great accomplishment really, when you consider the Titan haven't really had anything closely resembling an enforcer in the last few years................the only thing I really remember about him was declining an 18 year old Clow who couldn't fight to save his life.......

Spencer was afraid. He was afraid he'd kill Clowe and be banned from hockey for life.

He declined a one-dimensional punching bag in Bathurst ... can't recall his name ... the guy threw punches anyway and got the major while Spencer just laughed at him ... made the Titan fans irate too which was a bonus ... they still talk about it. I believe that punching bag was cut shortly after that. I believe that occurred in the famous "waxing" game ... I was there. There is video somewhere of him tuning Clow in a one-sided bout. You guys love to hate Spencer ... but he was a kid that could take a regular shift ... won 90% of his fights ... only losing to the true heavyweights like Doyle and Cormier ... and he was a great teammate. I'd take Tim Spencer (or someone just like him) on my team anyday.

So if Spencer is a p***y by Titan standards ... what does that make all Titan players ?

At the end of the day, Spencer wasn't the most active fighter, but I don't recall him ever getting tuned by anyone - maybe Cormier ... He was a big, strong guy who was very effective in his role.
