I noticed that Flynn doesn't seem to be playing the 4th line very much. Is that his normal style or is he adapting for close games, etc? Granted it may change when macAusland gets back and he develops a little more faith in the defense and some of the newer guys. Seemed to me that Nolan and Torchetti rolled 4 lines but it depends on depth, etc. Assuming the first 2 lines and the checking line stay together who do you think will win out on the 4th? Brown, Stephens and Macausland have to be favored for the future. But that leaves a number of good players ( LaBelle, Brenton, MacLellan). Will they trade some or move the younger ones down a level for ice time?

Of the three rookies, the only one I can see being sent down would be Stephens ... the team has too much invested in Brown and MacAusland ... they need to play every night, and if that means severing ties with Brenton or Labelle, so be it ... I like MacLellan on the fourth line, because he can be a regular on the PK, and can easily fill in on the third line if we have injuries or even penalty trouble during a game.

I think with injuries and rotating players in and out, Brown Stevens and MacAusland should all get 50 or so games in.
