Interesting article by Neil Hodge in the paper. Gives us information about what is happening with Baca (that we mostly knew already), but what is interesting its that he goes from facts and interview to a personnal comment. It makes it weird to read..... but interesting though!
Mostly i think he shares the opinion that we all have.

Glad also to see they dealt with the hot-dogging / push ups, not very sportsmanlike.

Regarding the push-ups...keep these few things in mind
This was his first regular season game for Moncton..he was very excited to be playing for the Wildcats.
He scores the first goal of the season and his Junior career short-handed, a role he is not used to playing.
He was very exited and reacted in a way the article describes as he had in Slovakia before.
He felt really bad an apologized right away the next day to the coach at the kids road hockey tournament.
He learned his lesson and we should never forget that kids at 17/18 make mistakes.
Hopefully he will pick up the scoring pace as he gets more used to the tighter checking and smaller ice surface and becomes an important piece of the puzzle this year.
On another note, expect Baca to play tonight.

It's nice to have someone so accurate.

Although I despise showboating after a goal I must admit I'd be intrigued to see this "push up" celebration.. at least it's more original than jumping up the glass, flying into the bench, tugging the crest etc

You can Avery's version here
While looking for that one, I found this hilarious clip featuring Avery.

This is my favorite quote from the Bezak/Baca article:
"Bezak speaks better English than some of our kids from Cape Breton,'' said Moncton head coach Danny Flynn with a laugh. ;D
