Who cares if we picked 1st in the draft 3 times. The fans are happy that we are putting a winning product on the ice. All that matters is we are winning for once. All well and good.......... but I just think it's funny that now that you guys are actually capable of winning a few hockey games, some of your fans are suddenly the cockiest on the Maritime boards. Dude's post about Moncton not really being that great was amusing coming from a fan of an org that was total mickey mouse its first two seasons even by the standards of an expansion team. Come on Deer. After two years of having our asses handed to us and not being able to buy a win, and having posters from every other board in the league hop on our board and make us all well aware of that, I think we're justified. Nobody held back from blasting us back then, so why should we hold back now that we can compete with most teams on most nights? Granted I don't think we have much better than a .500 hockey club, but that is a vast improvement compared to previous teams. Some people are going overboard for sure but some posters blasted our board every time we lost to their team. Thus when we win Sea Dogs fans are entitled to blast back. |

Some people are going overboard for sure Thanks for admitting that- it's basically the only reason I've gotten on the case of some Dogs fans on occasion early in this season. I can respect your other points............ after two really tough years, it's nice to see some light at the end of the tunnel. And there are fans, like yourself, who aren't making that light out to be bigger and brighter than it actually is. |

Yes, claiming to no longer be an easy 2 points is such an unbelievably outrageous statement. I can't believe how cocky some fans can be.
