The Cats make their way into Center 200 in Sydney on Tuesday to complete a grueling schedule of 5 games in 7 days. The Cats are coming off a winning weekend. They won Friday night against the PEI Rocket, by a score of 2-0. They went to Saint John Saturday night and lost 3-2. They then finished off the weekend in Bathurst with a 3-2 win. The Eagles are coming off a split with the Fog Devils on the Rock over the weekend. They won 5-2 on Friday night, while falling 4-0 on Saturday night.
The Cats will be again relying on Riopel to have a strong game. I think the Cats will take this game 4-2.

Who would have thought? A battle for first place in the Division and the whole league overall in a game between Moncton and Cape Breton.
Moncton 3-1.

Should be a great game but I wish it was here to start. I think I looked and we play them 4 times this month.

The gruelling part is not done ... we play Quebec on Thursday ... its actually a 6 games in 9 days stretch before they get 2 days off.

Are you planning the parade after only 8 games played? Yes that's clearly stated in his post. Winner of tomorrow night's game gets a parade and a banner raising ceremony at the next home game.

Are you planning the parade after only 8 games played? The parade route has already been planned ... we've already won a championship and had the parade. And actually its not a battle for first ... we can lose and still stay tied for 1st. I'm going to set up some lawn chairs on Main Street to hold my spot for May.

Do not be surprised if Charlie starts in goal.... I'd probably faint in shock. Big games like these aren't made for back up goalies.

Cape Breton will be without the services of goaltender Marek Benda, veteran defenceman Alex Lamontagne, and coach Pascal Vincent for tomorrow night's game.
Benda suffered some sort of freak injury during Friday night's game in St. John's, while Lamontagne and Vincent are both suspended thanks to a Saturday incident in which Lamontagne jumped off of the bench to fight the Fog Devils' Matt Fillier. Lamontagne got five games for the incident, while Vincent got two.
Therefore, we should be starting in goal 16-year-old Olivier Bellavance-Roy and Mario Durocher will man our bench, in a battle of tactics with coach Flynn of the Cats.
On the plus side in Cape Breton, Chris Culligan returns to the lineup tomorrow night for the first time since getting hurt in the season opener.
Should be a good battle between teams who play similar gritty, hard-working styles. Wish I could watch.
