Cape Breton will be without the services of goaltender Marek Benda, veteran defenceman Alex Lamontagne, and coach Pascal Vincent for tomorrow night's game. Benda suffered some sort of freak injury during Friday night's game in St. John's, while Lamontagne and Vincent are both suspended thanks to a Saturday incident in which Lamontagne jumped off of the bench to fight the Fog Devils' Matt Fillier. Lamontagne got five games for the incident, while Vincent got two. Therefore, we should be starting in goal 16-year-old Olivier Bellavance-Roy and Mario Durocher will man our bench, in a battle of tactics with coach Flynn of the Cats. On the plus side in Cape Breton, Chris Culligan returns to the lineup tomorrow night for the first time since getting hurt in the season opener. Should be a good battle between teams who play similar gritty, hard-working styles. Wish I could watch. That changes everything...Moncton get another break 5-3 Moncton win

BOUCHERVILLE, Tuesday, October 2, 2007 – The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League's disciplinary committee today imposed an additional one-game suspension to Cape Breton Screaming Eagles winger Jérémy Gouchie.
The suspension follows an incident that occurred during last Saturday’s game against the Fog Devils in St. John’s in which Gouchie was caught body-checking an opposing player from behind. The gesture translates into an automatic one-game suspension. Therefore, Gouchie will miss his team’s next two contests.
The decision was rendered after reviewing the videotape of the incident and consulting all concerned parties. The suspension is in effect as of today.
In accordance with the QMJHL policy in the matter of disciplinary sanctions, the disciplinary committee will not be available for further comment.
