I went to watch Brown play last weekend and was disappointed to see him out of the lineup AGAIN! Then I heard he did not play in CB either. So three games last weekend and he was out all three. Is he injured?
Also, is there a place to find the lineups before I drive down for the games?

Game day rosters usually aren't known until the team skates out for the opening faceoff - sometimes the T & T or A-N article on the day of the game hints as to who is in or out of the lineup, but not always, and it is not necessarily accurate.

I'd like to see Brown play ahead of Brenton.

I'm leaning toward the assumption that he has been hurt ... his play has improved from game to game and thats all you can ask from a 16 yr old.
Personally ... if we are going to be fighting for the last playoff position all year ... I'd like to see Brown, MacAusland and Stephens in the lineup more often than not. I'd also like to trim our roster to 23 ... remove a forward and a Dman.

So now the question (in the if I were GM game) would be, who is not good enough or worth investing in to be on the Cats? To me its simple, Herr for a D, which I think is all but unanimous and Brenton as a forward as he has shown absolutly no improvement from the beginning of last season.

I'm not aware of any injury but it's quite possible that is the case. If not I have no idea why we went with the exact same line-up for all 3 games of the 3-in-3 last weekend. Brown has played 8 games so far and Stephens 4 games. For a team going nowhere these guys need to be in the line-up more than that. As you mentioned Brown was getting better from game to game and I also thought Stephens was improving as well the last game we saw him play, looked to be adapting to the speed of the game.

brown sat out three games to get labelle in ... hard to keep everyone happy with the trading periods.
Brenton is in because although he isn't as talented as most guys brings speed and for a smaller player is gritty. two things the cats are lacking as it seems they can not get the puck back
It is sad to say but labelle didn't make a case for himself to be a regular player when he got in ... great kid but not alot of grit ... very good chance he will be moved at christmas

You can't be serious. Grit is all we have, players such as Moorhouse, Sill, Lessard, Brannon, Mclellan, etc, these are all grinders as well as Brenton. The last thing we need is more grit

Thanks for the updates. I'm just surprised that the number 1 draft pick for the team continues to sit out so much.

I think you will see Brown, Stephens alternating until Christmas and we can trade a couple of forwards to free up some space for them. I have been impressed with the play of both of them the last two games. Brown on Thurs and Stephens last night.
