A few former Cats are off to hot starts in the AHL, and could be looking at an NHL call-up sooner rather than later:
Jerome Samson: leads the Albany team in scoring as a rookie with 7 pts in 8 games ... Carolina is rolling though, and as an undrafted FA he lacks the big pedigree, so he may have to wait a while.
Luc Bourdon: 7 points in 9 games for Manitoba ... appears he is doing well in the AHL, as a top-10 pick, he may get an NHL call-up sooner rather than later.
Martin Karsums: leads Providence and scoring with 7 points in 7 games, and a team-leading +7 ... could a call-up to Boston come as early as this week with Bergeron on the shelf?
Patrick Thoresen: Leads Springfield with 9 points in 10 games, and a team-leading +6 ... played for the Oilers last year, so his shine as a prospect may be fading - might have to keep his fingers crossed that injuries or suspensions earn him a second chance.
Josh Tordjman: Building on where he left off last year - 4-0, 1.68, .944 with San Antonio ... with Phoenix' tandem of Auld/Telqvist being decidedly mediocre, they have to give him a chance sooner or later - don't they??
Also in the running for call-ups, Yandle, Pineault, and Crawford seem to be off to slower than usual starts but remain well regarded propsects in their organizations ... Goulet, MacDonald and Dupuis are also in the AHL, but appear to be longshots for call-ups at this point.

You forgot Bartulis, He's with Phantoms, seems to be doing decent... He might get a call up when more Flyers get suspended (should be anytime soon).

Cats draftee Chris Bourque just got called up by Washington. He would have been a great addition in the Cats big year.

Samson must have known it was his night at the Coliseum last night. He got a goal and an assist in a 2-0 win to earn first star.
