The Cats will be looking to start the month of November off with a win. October was brutal for the Wildcats, while they got just 2 wins in the month. The Cats entertain the Victoriaville Tigres on Friday night. The Cats are coming off a 3-2 loss in Bathurst on Wednesday night, while the Tigres are coming off a 5-2 loss in Cape Breton on Tuesday night. The Tigres are in Halifax tonight to play the Mooseheads before heading to Moncton.
Who will be in nets.. Riopel or Lavigne.. Blanchard or Poulin? I predict we'll see Blanchard for them.. and Lavigne for the Cats.. although Riopel is coming off a strong game in Bathurst..
Cats win 5-2.

I consider this a very important game for the Wildcats not to lose. They will be facing a team who has also been struggling lately and who's pk sucks even more.
I think Blanchard will be in nets, as will Lavigne for the Wildcats. Next week will be very tough with games against Halifax, St-John and Cape-Breton. Better keep Riopel for those and Lavigne needs some games.

I think We'll see Lavigne in nets tomorrow night... I'll say another close game 3-2 Tigres in OT

Vic is coming off of a 3-2 shootout win over Halifax. I think Riopel will be in nets again, with JCB for them, as he did not play tonight. 4-1 Moncton.

Good game tonight by the Cats. They dominated for 90%+ of the game.. they had a little letdown in the third period. The Brannon-Sill-Morehouse line continues to impress me. Marquardt was all over the ice tonight. I thought Lavigne played well, although he wasn't tested too much. Anyone know what happened to Cameron.. didn't notice him at all in the third period. Our special teams seem to be improving.. our PP is pretty good the last little while.. PK is getting better as well.

good game by Cats... Thought they played well for the 60 mins! Moncton did play well but is Victoriaville that bad, after beating probably one of the best teams in league, HALIFAX... Noticed Cameron never played in 3rd, hope it's not too serious

Cameron went off the ice slowly at one point in the second....I really couldn't tell what was wrong, but I remember seeing him at least once again after that, so if it wasn't enough to put him out of the game for good, hopefully it isn't too serious.
Another strong game by both MacAusland and Brown...

Cameron only played one or two shifts after that hit in the 2nd. He wasn't on the bench in the 3rd.
Brenton was one of those players I was hoping would score tonight with Bezak (want to see him score at home), Macausland and Brown.
The Cats were simply dominant tonight in every aspect of the game. However, they had quite a few defensive breakdowns and Lavigne was there to bail them out. Most of the shots he faced were scoring chances.

Randy Cameron fell ackwardly into the boards in his own zone by the Cats bench, seemed to hurt his knee. He made it to the bench and I did see him on the ice for one or two shifts after. Hopefully he's ok and his absence in the third was precautionary.

I love how everyone is all over brenton and the cats for playing him and not labelle. the facts are there both great kids, but brenton is a 3rd 4th line player in this league where labelle is a top two line guy. so your the coach what do you do break up the sill line NO take bezak cameron or macausland off the second line or marquart eagles or magnon off a line sure that sounds right take the leading scorer from last year or the captain or the leading scorer this year and put them in the stands Labelle already proved he isn't a fourth line guy i would rather have brown stephans and brenton there now and then rotate stephans brenton and brown when maclellan comes back if it didn't kill his trade value the best thing for labelle would be to be sent down to the beavers or whoever owns his rights

Sure would like to know who said Labelle should play instead of Brenton?

Brenton played a very solid game tonight. If he continues to play like that, he will shut my trap up and force me to say mea culpa. Not only got some offensive chances, but won some battles against the boards and seemed to use his speed well, instead of the going nowhere fast that we usually see. Good job.
I don't think Blanchard played a very strong game. Although he did make some nice saves, I'm sure there are some goals that he would love to see again. His defense didn't help him though. I didn't think they were that slow. Seemed like the Wildcats' forwards could get arond them at will.
MacAusland and Brown both played excellent games. I loved seeing Wilson back in the lineup and eve after missing so much time, he was very effective.
Lets see if the team can play the same was against a much offensively stronger team like Halifax.
