He's as good as your saviour Tardif, what does that make him? A never will be? You're comparing a 20 year old journeyman, who hasn't played in the league yet this year to a highly touted 17 year old.........good stuff......very credible. If you take age out of the equation, yes it's a good comparison. Tardif is not doing anything exceptional. He outplayed Legault, but Legault has never been known to be a good goalie...or even an average goalie for that matter. I bet Sniderman's numbers are as good as Tardiff's at midseason, both playing with skilled offensive teams.

We get something (allbeit an 8th rounder) for a free agent who didn't fit into our plans anyway. Sounds good to me. I'm sure that we could have gotten more if he was playing with us this year. In any case, Jhase gets to play with a contending team...good for him. And it's to a western team, so we will only see them twice this year. Actually ... the deal is an 8th that will be upgraded to a 7th if Sniderman plays after Jan 10 ... according to Hodge.

Psst! I was actually referring to 'the Cats' when I said 'we'. Sorry to confuse you.

Sniderman's first game got a second star and let in only two goals on 33 shots with 11 dangerous. He had a shutout going until the third. Great start.

Question....If we trade off 20's at christmas..Can we bring Lincourt back if needed??? Yes ... as long as he remains on our list ... and is on our roster prior to a cut off date of something like February 10.

has anyone checked --> www.hockeydb.com lately...Jhase has an "*" next to his stats, which means he is no longer on the active roster. When you go to R-N's website, his profile pic is still of him in a W/C's jersey (not a big deal),but he has no # corresponding with him (odd)...is it possible that the dude that updates their website,is the same dude that does ours? (i.e. Maxime Lincourt is still listed on our roster)

Lincourt is still on your list because you still own his rights up till the end of 2007. They're trying to trade him.
