Next year im curious as to what we need so im going to put a list.
Fowards
Sniper Play Maker Power Forward Defensive Forward Grinders - I know we dont need any of those for sure.
D
Offensive D Defensive D 2 Way D Physical D
G
Goalie - i think were good here even if we keep lavigne and riopel.
I personally think at the trade deadline you will see flynn try for lots of picks and scouting areas where he can prolly find some good late round picks. Thats my theory personally. Id like others opinion on what we should add.

Cats need to draft a goalie early next year to be groomed to take over in a couple of years.

I assume the general direction will be to take the best players available early (rather than focus on specific positions), and probably gamble on some players who haven't committed to the Q in the later rounds.
The interesting part to me is to see Flynn's strategy when drafting players who aren't either obvious choices nor complete gambles. The middle rounds (say, 3rd to 6th) are when a GM can put his stamp on a draft class.

A future sniper would be a good plan. Unfortunately, who will be available when our selection comes up. We have lots of holes to fill so they will likely get the best players available at the time.

you should be trading those picks for solid players.......don't worry about picking 16 and 17 year olds.......next year will be the 3rd year of your rebuild after the MemCup.......you should be looking at having a contender, not stockpiling for the future.......how many years are you gonna rebuild anyway?

You guys are in year 5 of your rebuild ... and you didn't even have to load up in your final year of contention to decimate your resources. When will you guys be a contender again ?

A very realistic post........ .....if you consider Bathurst's run 2 seasons back as a rebuild, what would you say about CB last year....they went to the exact same spot in the playoffs......game 7 of the semis. But what does that have to do with Moncton?......you guys should be a high end club next year, and a all out contender the next year if you follow the model that you think everybody has to do......

So two years of missing the playoffs ... followed by one year as an upper level team ... followed by a 12th place finish ... followed by what looks another season in the bottom half of the league ... is a good rebuild ? If you had followed up your 05/06 season with another solid season ... and continued that into this year as another contending year ... then you guys would look like you are on the right track. But what it looks like is you rebuilt for two years ... had one semi-successful season even though you had to fire a Coach ... and now are in year two of another rebuild. I'd be proud to be a Titan fan ...

I know that is only a matter of time before MacAusland breaks out of his goal scoring drought and he and Brown both look to be on the right track, and the future looks bright for them. I guess I was looking too close at the present and not so much into the future.
