I find the standings are not a real accurate look at how teams are doing. Here are the teams based on the points per game they earn CB - 1.636 RN - 1.444 HF - 1.400 BC - 1.300 Vic - 1.250 SNB- 1.250 AB - 1.222 GAT- 1.153 VD - 1.111 MNC- 1.090 CHI - 1.000 SHA- 1.000 LEW- 0.889 SNF- 0.818 QC - 0.818 DRU - 0.750 RIM - .092 PEI - 0.667

You forgot Rimouski at 0.692 Oooppps check out PEI. That's a team that a lot of people figured would be in the top 4. And they are going into Que. on a 3 in 3 tour this weekend. Wouldn't be surprised to see Yannick Jean gone by the time they get home. If there was ever a coach that is ripe for firing, it has to be him. Mario Durocher is doing a great job in CB. Wonder if Serge Jr. is interested?

I'd be surprised if Mario wants to be an assistant coach forever. And PEI is a good team playing bad so it's not like he'd be taking over a rebuilding squad.

Maybe its just Pascal Vincent doing his regular season charm again and having the players working hard for him. Durocher might just be doing as he is told ... implementing the systems that Pascal directs him to. Is that him doing a "great" job ... or just doing his job ? Maybe inspite of their record ... Vincent is unhappy with the effort being put in by Durocher ... we don't know. Pat Daviault is obviously doing a terrible job again since the Titan are underachieving ... its amazing that he can hold down a job.

I'm not really shocked with PEI, I said when the rankings came out that I found tjhem overrated. They have a nice core of 5-6 players but after that, a lot is expected of guys like Swit Southorn Doyle Locke Kana etc To me they are no better than last year.

They were 4th in the Division last year which is where pretty much everyone had them this year. So if you thought they were about the same as last year (4th) then them being the worst team overall is a surprise ..... unless you thought that 4th in the Division = last overall.

I think what he is saying that they have the talent to be as good as last year ... but no better than that. I think they are seriously under-achieving and will likely turn it around sooner or later. They are a better team than they are showing ... Lafleur hasn't played well either but I know he can play better.
