SEA DOGS ANNOUNCE ‘WE WANT YOU BACK’ CAMPAIGN
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Monday, February 4, 2008
SAINT JOHN, NB --- Saint John Sea Dogs president Wayne Long announced today that the team will be offering former season ticket holders the chance to obtain a complimentary ticket to any of the team’s six remaining home games.
“We really think that fans who had season tickets in either year one or year two but decided not to renew this season should see the dramatic improvement in our on-ice product for themselves,” said Long. “The Sea Dogs are very much improved this year and we think that former season ticket holders will be pleased with the new game-day experience our organization has created as well.”
As part of the ‘We Want You Back’ campaign, any fan that had season tickets during the 2006-07 or inaugural 2005-06 season will be given a free ticket to any of the Sea Dogs’ remaining home contests simply by dropping by the team’s office at Harbour Station.
Further information on this promotion can be obtained by calling the Sea Dogs’ office at (506) 657-DOGS (3647).
The Sea Dogs are currently ranked first in the QMJHL East with a record of 34-14-1-3. The team kicks off a three-game road trip through the province of Quebec on Friday night when they pay a visit to the Dejardins Coliseum to face the Victoriavilla Tigres, a squad they defeated by a score of 4-3 at Harbour Station on January 31.

Good to see Seadog management making a attempt to get fans back to see a great hockey team. Now it is in the fans hands to come forward and support this team.No reason why they can not have big crowds for the remainding games left and the play offs also.Come on Seadog fans lets get behind this team.

A "We want you back next year" campaign, or "Thank you for sticking by us" campaign would be nice too, for those of us that have had season tickets since the beginning and never bailed out on the team.
Not that it is a bad idea to try and get old ticket holders back. It's a great idea, but you could also hold a special event or deal or something to show your appreciation to those who had season tickets, and still do.

Good idea. Good to see the Sea Dogs Organization is doing what it can to boost up it's attendance and hopefully some of these fans that "come back" will drop in for your first playoff games as well.

Leaskismyhero Donot see nothing wrong with my comments.Management doing the right thing (getting people in the stands.)As for your statement that I make it to all your games from Ontario well if you need a fan from Ontario to come down to all your games well then you have a problem in filling your rink.Instead of you complaining because some fan from Ontario is concerned with your club.Go fill the rink instead of saying well management should do something for the current season ticket holders also.Good point but you still have to get fans to the rink.

I think you need to take a sarcasm pill.

They have regular season ticket holder draws during the games, you have a chance to win prizes no one else can. Plus hats jacket etc they give to season ticket holders.
