SEA DOGS ANNOUNCE SPECIAL TICKET OFFER FOR FANS 50+
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Tuesday, February 5, 2008
SAINT JOHN, NB --- Saint John Sea Dogs president Wayne Long announced today that the team will be offering fans aged fifty and higher the opportunity to purchase tickets to each of the team’s two remaining Wednesday night home games for the price of $5.
“We really hope that people will take advantage of this special offer and make it out to one or both of our remaining Wednesday night games,” said Long. “The Sea Dogs have been playing exceptionally well all season long and we want as many Saint John residents as possible to be able to come down to Harbour Station and watch a game at an affordable price. We’ve done a lot to help students get to games this year, and with this new offer we hope that our adult fans will get to a couple of games they might not have gone to otherwise.”
The games in which fans 50+ may buy an upper bowl seat at this discounted price are Wednesday, February 13 versus the Moncton Wildcats and Wednesday, March 12 versus the P.E.I. Rocket. Tickets may be obtained on the day of the game only, and patrons will be required to provide proof of age upon purchase.
The Sea Dogs are currently in first place in the QMJHL East with a record of 34-14-1-3. A new franchise record for goals in a season was established during Sunday afternoon’s 6-5 road win over the Moncton Wildcats when Alexandre Picard-Hooper scored Saint John’s 210th goal of the 2007-08 in the first period.
