BOUCHERVILLE, Tuesday, February 12, 2008 – Quebec Major Junior Hockey League teams today announced their candidate for the Marcel-Robert Trophy, which is awarded to the Scholastic Player of the Year at the Golden Puck Awards Gala every April.
Each team’s candidate will receive a $400 bursary. The five finalists are expected to be announced next week. They will earn an additional $400 grant.
Finally, the winner will announced on April 2nd. He will be awarded the Marcel-Robert Trophy, a $500 grant and the "Guy Lafleur" student-athlete bursary worth $6,000.
