Get to see 2 former original Dogs tonight in Labonte and Monahan. Going to be very interesting to see Monohan as he is having a pretty amazing breakout season. Guess we can't use the No Hands Monahan and Cant Finish Monahan anymore with his 34 goals and his point per game average.

I bet he still doesn't take a hit to make a play, and still cannot locate the boards at most rinks around the Q. I prefered Labonte's gritty style, but it is nice to see Monahan doing well. Just hopefully not tonight.

He only has 18 assist so that tells me he is still not willing to do the dirty work. Maybe Thomas or Kilpartick will help him with directions to the boards at Harbour Station!!!
They played BC really close last time out so I think this is going to be a close one tonight. If we play like we did against the Rocket we might not even get a point. I am saying 6 - 4 Dogs with the 6th goal into an empty net. We will have a 5 - 2 lead and then scramble to hang on.

We don't have a Kilpatrick but we have a Kirkpatrick I think the Dogs will pull out the win tonight 4-3. They gotta figure out what happened to the PK they used to be near the top but they seem to be struggling a fair bit with it now. They are gonna have to work tonight with Howes out of the lineup someone else is gonna have to bang in the corners maybe Charland? (just a guess)

I think the lack of PK success seems to be that we aren't playing aggresively as were in the 1st half. I always noticed we would rush the player with a puck at the point or on the half boards.

I wonder how attendance will be for this one? Talked someone into buying a couple tickets online today for the game tonight. They went to quite a few games last year but none so far this year. Hopefully we play a great game (and win) so they'll keep coming back.
4 - 3 Victoriaville in a heartbreaking shootout loss. Monahan gets 2 points...and still goes minus one for the game. ;D

I would like to see 3500+ tonight. I think that would be fine for a Thursday game. Also, our next game after this is'nt until 2 weeks, so maybe their might be a little bit more interest.

I assume he is using his speed to get to the open net more than his hands to beat defenders. He has tremendous wheels. His timing has probably improved somewhat, but I bet he's much more relaxed and not pressing. I bet Despres catches him tonight looking back on a suicide pass. Dogs come out with their playoff faces and win 4 to 1.

He probably should have been 1st star, but its pretty rare you see a visiting player get 1st star in a loss.
