Oh, ontariohockeyfan. I wish you would learn the demographics before you go running your mouth. Saint John fans need to see a winning season, and then the next year they'll come running to Harbour Station.
I bet next year's attendance far exceeds this years attendance.
As for Saturday being over 6,000? Nope. Not a chance.

Frank I have seen democratics of Junior hockey (20 plus years season ticket holder) I have seen the worst team ever in junior hockey history 1995-96 (3-60-3 )to the Best junior team ever 2004-5 (59-7-2-0=120 pts & a Memorial Cup that year also.I have seen some of the best players to go pro also, Rico Fata who played for your Saint John Flames,Rick Nash,Jason Allison,Chris Kelly,Patrick Kane,Sam Gagner,Corey Perry etc.You were saying that your fans want to see a winner before they will start to come. Well your winner is here now.Junior hockey is a funny sport because today you can have a winner but next year you might not and with the way Pro hockey is today you can lose your good players that are drafted the same year (Example London lost Pat Kane,Sam Gagner) to pro this year the same year they were drafted. There is no excuse if you are a true hockey fan you will go see the not so good (Saint John 1st year ) to the good ( team this year ranked #8 in the country). As for the attendence tonight ok 6000 probably high but 5000 should not be out of reach. To show you Junior hockey does work and will work London had games Thursday (Mississauga ) & Friday (Peterboro ) total attendence for both games total was 17,864 fans attended (8844 Mississauga & 9020 Peterboro ) and this London team is not ranked at all where your team is.Yes your attendence should be high next year as this team will be picked as one of the teams to beat in the Q.But that is next year not this year.So get your friends and go support this team and have fun with it.

Why are you so freaking concerned with our team? You're sitting here yanging at us over and over and obviously you're wasting your breath since we're already the fans.

Hockeyaddict guess I am the concerned Junior hockey fan of any Junior team. I respect the sport and do not like to see teams fail if you do not want to hear my opinions that is your choice but If this team falls (hope not ) do not come crying saying they can not do this.Remember YOU & your fans are the ones that make this work but if not enough fans or no fans means you know what (No Team ) just remember that

THE PEOPLE ON THIS BOARD ARE THE STEADY FANS. So no we would not be the ones responsible if the team ended up folding, it would be the people that do not go to the games and thus are not on the boards. Sitting here saying the same fucking thing over and over to us is pointless.

Hockeyaddict your have real class (Language) maybe you should go out and find people to go support the team.Guess you do not like the truth. P.S. Go to the press & radio stations voice your concerns but all I am trying to do is help get fans to your games and the only way is to tell them the truth.

Your upset because I said fuck, oh my I guess I'm going to hell. As f or saying I don't like the truth is pointless, I never said I disagreed with the fact that Saint John needs more people going. What I said was to sit here and say the same thing to basically season ticket holders is pointless. Every post you ever make says the same thing over and over, maybe if you are so sure you're right YOU need to write into our papers and things.

Harder to read with every post OHF... you can go on and on all you want about how long you've been a Junior hockey fan, who you've seen, blah blah blah, you still clearly DO NOT understand the demographics out here (and no, it's not Democratics, are you talking about Clinton and Obama??)
There will not be 6000 fans on Saturday after a sub-3000 fan game two nights ago. To suggest that is likely, or let alone possible, is just silly. Yet you will reply that you DO know what you're talking about, because you've been here and done that and seen this and heard that...
Anyways, on to more exciting stuff - should be a good crowd tonight, glad to hear over 4000 tickets sold, 4500 fans would be great! These games with bigger crowds are important - the casual fans that take these in need to see the Sea Dogs in top form. If they come out flat and don't play well/lose to the Foggies, it will take even longer for the place to fill. It was encouraging that they won in front of the big crowds versus PEI and Val D'Or, hope they bring their 'A' game tonight.

ontariohockeyfan: I sure as well would hope you guys would have over 8,000 fans a game. London is in a metropolitan area with a population of just about 500,000 people!
Saint John is in a metropolitan area with a population of about 125,000 people. Of course there is going to be difference in attendances between the two cities.
You still don't understand the demographics of Saint John. Fans in Saint John are not the typical hockey fans.
