Robert Mayer is off to the Home Hardware Top Prospects game. Mayer was chosen by NHL Central Scouting to replace Victoriaville Tigres backstop Kevin Poulin, who sustained an injury during yesterday's game versus the MAINEiacs in Lewiston.
The Sea Dogs goaltender, who hails from Zurich, has a record of twelve wins against five losses in twenty games so far this season. He has maintained a 3.33 goals-against-average and .889 save percentage and registered two shutouts.

It's times like these that I am glad we have a third goalie. Now Mayer won't have to rush back thru 2 times zones to dress for Thursdays game.
