After I heard that Val d'Or used a planed to get around New Brunswick this weekend (flew to Moncton, then bussed to Saint John, then flew to Bathurst this morning) it got me thinking...
What if McCain "lent" the Dogs his personal plane, or rented a plane, flew to Ottawa, then rented a bus to get from Gatineau to Rouyn-Noranda then Val d'Or, then use that plane to get down to Lewiston.
It would cut the travel time down dramatically, and the players wouldn't suffer from "bus leg".
If a team like Val d'Or can afford to use a plane to get around New Brunswick, I'm sure the Sea Dogs can.
