I'm with Brec, I said a few weeks back that the Dogs need to add a forward or two and they are 100% contenders. I think the Dogs need one grind it out forward. A guy who can put up alright points with a lunch pail work ethic. After seeing your team this weekend I really think you guys could make a run with that move. Who's available that fit's that description or what he would cost I don't know, but I think it would be worth it who knows what next season will bring you guys got the guns to go now it's just as well to go for it.........My two cents anyway.

Just look at Lewiston last year. They stood pat thinking that they could be strong two years in a row- they didn't want to take away from the following season.

Well, standing pat was the right move for them because they won the championship. But they were in first place at the time. No one here seems to expect SJ to win the title this year.

Now what's happened in Lewiston this year... they've had to deal with a number of unexpected departures. You don't know for sure what the future will bring. For all we know Didomenico could make Toronto next season. (It seems laughable, but Perron is in St. Louis this year!) I can understand not trading away any major players but if I think SJ should definitely do something.

I agree. Trade Despres now. He's going to be moved..... either now, or this time next year. Why wait? Is he really making your D that much better?

Despres suddenly makes guys who currently aren't available (Marshall, Culligan etc.) available.
