Just some info for the Junior hockey fans in the East your team Atlantic plays Team West today (Sunday Dec.30) int the World Under 17 Tournament.This game is being telavised on Rogers T.V. Game time is 2 P.M. EST -3 P.M. Atlantic Time.Check your Rogers listing out there as I think this is on.Comments on the tournament Team USA with Ryan Bourque ( Ray Bourque boy)who is in the city to watch his boy play look strong along with Team Ontario.The big game today is U.S.A. plays Russia at Strathroy last time they played they had a big brawl.Trying to get a ticket for this one but this one is hard to find.Also the Gold Final game is being broadcast across the country on Friday Jan 4th 7:30 P.M.EST on the TSN Network

Team Atlanic scored the first 2 goals in the game today in the first period but Team West scored the next 5 to go a head 5-2 after 1 period.In the end the final score was 6-4 for Team West.Your Atlantic team is very young as they have 4 players that have just turned 15 years old which shows the future of junior hockey out east is looking up to be pretty good in the future as they are building for 2009 as this tourament will be held on the East coast. Team Atlantic next game is New Years Day against Russia in Stratford Ontario at 7:30 P.M. EST.

Today in Stratford Ontario Team Atlantic played a tough game with Russia but came up short as they lost 5-2 .The score was 0-0 after one period and 1-1 after two but the young Atlantic finally sucome to the Russians being out scored 4-1 in the third .Saint John Seadog Steve Anthony had one goal & one assist for Team Atlantic.Team Atlantic last game in the preliminary is tomorrow against Germany in St.Thomas Ontario at 4 P.M. EST which had the big upset in the tourament upsetting U.S.A. 4-2 on New Years Day.

It was a great effort for this Team Atlantic with four players 14 years old and many other able to play again next year this team maybe a great one in two years..But thanks for playing for us over Christmas and New Year's holiday periods..

They are 15yr olds there Fred, and they should all be in this next draft. I'd love to see Couturier in Moncton so we can see him often. He's worth the price of admission now.

yes, but the staff should have chosen a more competitive team. the kids tried, but atlantic brought too many 15s and not enough 16s.
