With the Cape Breton loss to PEI and the Saint John win over Lewiston the Sea Dogs and Screaming Eagles now sit atop the standings with 51 points. Sea Dogs in 4 less games
FOR THE FIRST TIME IN FRANCHISE HISTORY THE SAINT JOHN SEA DOGS ARE IN 1ST PLACE.
Congrats boys keep the train rolling.

Who'd a thunk after 37 games our boyz would be in first place congrats to the Sea Dogs and keep this thing goin! ;D
I'm not even sure we need to do anything to this team right now to be a serious threat we did our biggest trading when we picked up Howes & Picard. Can you imagine what we would have had to pay right now for these had they been playing as good as they are on another team. ;D

I guess the Moosehead fans have larger goals than us poor Seadog fans. I could careless if we finish first in the QMJHL as long as we finish first in the Eastern Division.
But enough about Hali, I'm not going to give them any more thought until January 20th.

The sea dogs should really 'go for it' this year as oppose to next year. The team is really leaning on Hooper and Howes and they won't be around next year. And you also gave up a nice few draft picks between those two players. Interesting to see how this team performs without the help of P-Hooper and Howes.

Congrats on the Sea Dogs win over Lewiston so now it is on to play Moncton next anything can happen but I do not think the Sea Dogs will take them lightly and the way JB has them playing I can see a possible sweep of weekend games. To other teams in the league especially their division beware of the dog they now are bitting hard on anything that moves so look out it could get very interesting down the stretch.

But enough about Hali, I'm not going to give them any more thought until January 20th. You should care about first place in the QMJHL. The team that has finished first overall in the regular season has gone on to win the President Cup the last 4 years in a row.

This may be short lived but at least the Dogs can say we were there. Sweet!
